Oil and Gas Industry Facts. |

Oil and Gas Industry is one of the most dramatically changing global industries today. Crude oil or petroleum is obtained naturally from beneath the surface of earth that is formed through years of animal, plant, layers of silt and mud decompositions.
Since ages, crude oil has been put to several uses and accounts for major portion of the world's energy consumption. Drilling below the sea beds for crude paved the path for the entrance and the rise in importance of the oil and gas industry in the overall world economy.
A number of entities together constitute the oil and gas industry.
1) Those involved in the oil simulation, oil exploration, overall development and production of natural gas or crude oil.
2) Those taking care of the transportation, retailing, and end users.
3) Other contracted drilling agencies and oil course service companies.
Some of the major Oil Companies operating in the world market today include BP, Shell, Chevron, Exxon Mobil (Esso), ConocoPhillips, and Total S.A.
Some of the biggest producers of oil in the world include: Russia, Saudi Arabia, USA, Iran, and China.
Developed countries are seen to have the maximum amount of oil consumption and there is also a growing demand for oil and natural gas by most of the developing countries as well. It has been estimated that the total consumption of oil in the world jumps over approximately 30 billion barrels of oil per year. It is high time that the every nation should look towards alternative sources of energy such as wave and tidal power, wind power, solar power and bio fuels to fully realize oil corporate social responsibility thus reducing such frightening pressures on oil and gas in the world.

How an energy training course can benefit. |

It is very important to enhance your understanding of the whole petroleum exploration process from a geophysical, engineering, and economical perspective. There are very few institutions that provide training on oil simulation and energy education. These institutions provide unique user-friendly courses and conduct practical oil workshops designed for people who are into this oil and gas industry or are totally newbie to the energy industry. All the necessary science concepts are built into the course modules so as the clients or the participants completely understand the oil corporate social responsibility.
An energy training course can benefit all business professionals, secretaries, administrative and technical support staff, trainees and new recruits, engineers and geoscientists newly involved with exploration issues. Also the people working with providers to the oil and gas industry, as well as government officials, and investors in the oil and gas industry will benefit from these courses.
By taking these oil training courses, participants are expected to be able to implement and explain:
1. Explain the overall oil and gas exploration process
2. Interpret simple geophysical and geological surveys.
3. Assess the comparative viability of different license blocks.
4. Understand the dynamics of partnerships and negotiations in oil and gas exploration.
5. Provide an overview of drilling rigs and service providers.
6. Calculate a rudimentary budget for an exploration drilling campaign
7. Explain the difference between dry fields and commercial and non-commercial finds.
8. Assess the economic viability of reservoirs, and calculate ROI.
No matter what your level of experience or area of expertise is, you will find a training path that’s right for you. Take control of your career with energy education and training from known oil and gas training institutes.

Simprentis oil training applications - Leading path to innovations. |

Simprentis has altogether made it to be an easy task for all oil and gas training students to acquire the latest innovation trends in the oil industry. Over the recent months, Simprentis clients have expressed interest into how the OilSim product could be applied in different contexts. This has led to the development of a new oil simulation portfolio that is aimed at providing innovative solutions to specific aspects of staff development.
To date the successful portfolio applications have been with OilSim EE (energy education events). The focus here is on young adults and enthusing their interest into taking up careers in the industry.
OilSimNSD (New Staff Development) has been especially effective at helping new staff understand quickly about different aspects of the industry whether it be upstream or downstream. This gives them an excellent holistic overview of the different facets of the industry in which they have chosen to work. OilSimNSD would also be highly suited to a graduate development programme to understand oil corporate social responsibility.
OilSimTB oil workshop is all about Team Building – the essential component to ensuring your employees are all helping to pull in the same direction, together – and starting with a common understanding of what energy course is all about.
However, the requests for ever new applications keep coming in and Simprentis has responded with two new variants within the Oil Sim portfolio.
OilSimSR (Selection and Recruit ment) oil training course allows HR professionals to engage potential new recruits in selection processes and helps to highlight specific leadership and team qualities as they simultaneously learn about the industry. OilSimSR can be used to complement existing recruitment and selection strategies, or Simprentis can undertake this exercise on their client’s behalf.
OilSim LC blends executive English Language and Communication training with new knowledge and of the terminology and processes of the industry. This package is especially (although not exclusively) targeted at middle to senior managers.

Energy Education: How important is it? |
16th December 2008, 03:18 |

There has been a continuous rise in demand for oil and gas throughout the world leading to a rise in its prices. This was inevitable since petroleum is a non renewable resource and it is hard to match supplies with such a drastic increase in its demand year after year. Moreover, there are signs of negative effects on sea life as well as the overall environment through discharge of chemicals being a threat to oil corporate social responsibility
Obtained naturally from beneath the surface of the earth, crude oil or petroleum is an inflammable liquid that is collected beneath the seas in the form of oil reservoirs through years of plant and animal decomposition as well as deposition of layers of silt and mud materials. From time immemorial, crude oil has been put to several uses and today and accounts for a major portion of the world's energy consumption.
In the UK, it is the Department of Trade and Industry that regulates the activities and development of the oil and gas industry. Theoil sim industry provides three quarters of the UK's primary energy alone and globally it is responsible for more energy output than any other fuel production areas. Changing to meet the needs of the consumer and protecting the planet are both relevant considerations in industry's recruitment drive with an increased awareness in energy education and oil simulation production alternatives and their impact becoming number one priority on most companies’ lists.
Energy training organizations like Simprentis lead a high profile trade mission on behalf of the UK Governments inward investment agency, UK Trade and Investment. The objective of the organizations mission is to promote excellence in UK oil training and educational excellence to the global petroleum industry.
Such oil course foundations help provide numerous scholarships to students as they hold the key to tomorrow's energy solutions. These programs primarily focus on design and programming of simulations for education and training, oil workshops, investigations into the training needs of corporations, teacher workshop, scholarship, student education, industry workforce development, research, and guest speaker programs.
